Hyperspace lighting integration for Brothers Dressler

November 15, 2012

One of a pair of projects I was fortunate to be involved in with the Brothers Dressler. The brothers are a Toronto based pair of craftspeople and designers who build beautiful things from reclaimed wood and repurposed industrial bits and pieces.

Jason and Lars designed and executed a beautiful, whimsical interior for the Intergalactic Travel Authority – a social enterprise supporting kids literacy. I was brought in to add some interactive lighting to the ‘portal’ which kids pass through on their way to the free workshop space behind the store. A simple button press triggers a frenzied hyperspace effect from the LED lighting system I integrated.
